Our People

Lura Swaim, CPA, I have lived in East Texas all of my life. 

I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor's degree in Proficiency in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration. My professional background includes extensive accounting and tax services.

Our History

The original firm, Lura Swaim CPA, began with general accounting services for business and individuals. This developed into strategic planning for minimization of tax liabilities for individuals and corporations, and consulting services. We believe in "old school" principles, but we also believe in keeping up with the needs of individuals and businesses in this rapidly changing world.

Our client list includes churches and non-profits, individuals and sole proprietors, home builders and other construction companies.
